A friend of mine who lives in Bristol has a problem with the gearbox of his Peugeot 105.

Other than the fact that his clutch is almost worn out, his gearbox is making some rather unpleasant noises. It could be a worn synchromesh or just need the oil replacing - I've driven it but I'm not sure.

Can anyone recommend a reliable mechanic/garage in Bristol (he lives in Stoke Bishop) where he could get this checked out? We're both new to the area so don't really want to take a stab in the dark!

I live in Stoke Bishop and have always used Brooklands Garage on Julian Road to service all of my cars over the years. They have always been friendly and reliable and do not do any work that isn't required.
