Hi all.

I noticed that when I am parking and I turn the steering my headlights dim (06 VRS)

Never had this happen on any car I've owned before.

Anyone else have this? Is it normal on this car or is there a fault?

It is probably your steering angle sensor loads of posts on this site about it a very common problem.

Does your steering also go heavy and light at times?

It's normal and is a result of the electro-hydraulic pump which places a big load on the system resulting in the lights dimming.

Had my pump and seonsor both replaced.. I still get the lights dimming just slightly.. like said above.. It's just the draw on the juice hwne the engine is at low revs becuase it must be using more battery power.
