Fabia 1.4 16v Service Intervals

Featured Replies

My 02-plate Fabia 1.4 16v is coming up to its 100k service, what sort of work should I be expecting to be carried out? I don't use Skoda dealers as I've got a good local garage who are cheap but do good work, and I've mislaid the service schedule (have contacted Skoda about getting a new one, can't go back to dealer as i got it second hand from an car supermarket and according to to my local Skoda dealer they can only help with cars they sold). Would just like some idea of what I've got coming up, and what it could cost me!

Hi

100k should be oil and oil filter change with the pollon filter

Hope that helps?

cheers for that sarah!

Recently the springs have started to plunk when moving off from cold - a friend said she had it sounds similar to her mk4 golf, just before the springs collapsed; i'm slightly worried, but I also know that the golf hadn't been treated that well - when should I look to be replacing shocks / springs / bushes? and are there any better alternatives to standard parts?
