My clutch pedal seems creaky. My wife tells me its always been like that, but I don't think so. No probs changing gears etc. Anyone know whats going on? Car has 80000 miles on it and is in good order. You might say I am a hypochondriac about my octavia(!)

I would give the pivot points on the clutch pedal a blast of WD40 It cured mine when i first bought it and its not returned.

:iagree: The Octy has a hydraulic clutch, so a creak from the pedal must be the pivot.

How do you work that? I'm no mechanic, I pick it up as I go along.
