Am I being too picky?

Featured Replies

Have just got my car back from repair shop, just needed a bit of filling and respray, thing is when I got the car back I have noticed a few fine scratches, which were definitely not there pre-repair. I pointed out a couple when I picked up the car (which weren't on they're pre-repair inspection) and have since noticed a couple more since. Also the valetting service seemed to stripped the silver paint from the octavia embossed just under the hazard light switch. Is there a silver paint I could use to touch up? Or should I just ask the repair shop to sort?

Seem that every time I get something fixed on car these days, I get 'other' damage done too! :(

No, you're not too picky!

You took it there to be repaired, not redamaged!! If it's not on their report then get them to sort it out!!

cheers, just had a couple of bumps recently, not all my fault!. But it seems all I've done in the last couple of months is talk to insurance companies, driven hire cars, had to take days off work. Problem is other party has been family so I can't really throw the book at them.

Although out of this I've decided that my next car maybe a new jetta which I had as a courtesy car to put through it's paces. Feels very octavia like to drive. Tho not as good looking IMO.
