I got a clay kit from Halfords for about £20

1 x Quick Detailer 473ML

1 x Sample Wax 118 ML

2 x 50G Clays

1 x Super Microfiber Cloth

The car came up a treat

I was gonna get that kit but also had chance of some sonus ultra fine clay bars and storage case for less than £11 and seeing as i've got the detailer spray and more microfibre cloths than i know what to do with i've gone for the Sonus bars.

In reality you can use anything as a lubricant, as long as it lubricates.

A 50/50 mix of car shampoo and water works just as well.

True, but some shampoos ruin the clay bar.

Head 'n' Shoulders?

Vosene tends to be a bit harsh.

Look, you have got me going now, and I was trying to be all sensible.:(

We'll rue the day you're sensible.
