Octavia Vrs Mk1 (2003) - SINGLE DOOR UNLOCK

Featured Replies

Can this be done? I have seen the instructions for the fabia ;

SINGLE DOOR UNLOCK

[select]

[46 - Cent. Conv.] (35 - Cent. Locking for manual window cars)

[Recode - 07]

Write down the existing coding for future reference.

Enter 5-digit code from below

But it will not find this module with my VAG-COM

you might need the full version as my octy vRS has single door unlock

Vag is registered, will give it another bash tomorrow ;)

pass then mate.

Im sure that someone will be along soon to correct me if im wrong

As yours above, this is what fatty5000 used on mine to get it working, Cheers mate.

Single Door Unlock

46 – Cent Convenience

07 - Recode

The single door unlock give an even number i.e. 00064. To make all the doors unlock with one press, just add 1 i.e. 00065

Just checked mine - 2002 Octavia 4X4 Elegance 4 door with 4 power windows. Code is 00265 for all door unlock, or 00264 for single door unlock. The label files in VAG-COM 704.1 and Beta 711 explain clearly what coding change is needed. :)

On selecting 46 - Cent. Conv.]

"module cannot be found" - could be my OEM cable? I can access all other standard modules engine, HVAC etc no problems.

Confirm that you have electric windows, not manual crank?

If so, try cold-booting the module by pulling all relevant fuses, or by disconnecting the battery cables for a while.

Yup its a Vrs - full electric windaz

Will try the fuses ta

I've had this... Once it refused to access the central convenience and once the throttle body... both times it was cured by disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes.

By disconnecting battery - Assume disconnecting negative is sufficient? And would radio code need rentering after?

If its the original Car radio then no, it gets its code from the car.:D
