Just had a letter from my local Jewson Skoda Delership saying my car is due a Cambelt!

Do i go to them for them charge £365 for the work to be done or look else where?

I Live in Oxford does anyone else know of somewhere cheaper?

I'd go elsewhere.

Mine is going into my local VAG specialist tomorrow for the cambelt to be done.

Cambelt, tensioners, uprated water pump, fluids and labour - £270.

I'm happy enough at that. A friend could have done it for slightly cheaper, but we found a lovely engine mount in the way (looked a bit of a pain)

yea same parts from skoda but they said they didnt do anything with the water pump!? anyideas ?

Can't fault them on service, but I'd think you could get a waterpump as well from an indie. Check the Site Sponsors section and see if there's anywhere you'd be prepared to drive to.
