My windows have a sense of humour!

Featured Replies

This past Saturday I think it was. We were driving in the city centre and I decided to open my driver's side window. I hit the **** as you do.

At which point my g/f decided to complain. Amazingly, her window had been activated. I reversed the direction and it came back up.

I tried her switch (the left hand button) and my window operated. Even she checked and confirmed it. The buttons had switched operation.

Today, I happened to try again having forgotten about it. The window controls have switched back to normal.

Any ideas..?

hmm sounds like the regulator I think, my passenger side window switch on my vRS is playing up not that I'm bothered at the moment, it seems to stick before the window goes down and if you push it it sometimes comes back up. Might just be a wee glitch you have.

LOL, may be its the Norfolk air - as I have had weird happenings with my windows too. Ive had both front electric windows open as Ive unlocked the driver door on a few occasions.

This is seemingly quite common, and I think its now just an accepted occasional quirk with no apparant solution :)
