Is wider necessarily better?

Featured Replies

I'm currently running 215/40/17s, cause obviously size (girth, laydeez!) matters! :D

However (serious question) are there any handling advantages changing to 205/40/17s on a 7.5J rim?

Tbh, I doubt you'd notice the difference handling wise, but your speedo will read 1.3% faster.

Cheers Chris. I'll stick with 215s.

I have 205/40/17 on my fabia, next time i will be going for the 215's, as the 205's look stretched and offer no rim protection
