My Last Post!

Featured Replies

My much loved vRS TDI is gone. New job means company car again and no opt out, so I have had to see good bye. 6 months 21500 miles and I can report the following:

Faliures - None

Issues - Rear camber not set at factory properly, broken wind screen, large stone chip.

For - Quick, Comfortable, Huge value for money, everyones suprise at quality when they jump in for the first time, dealer service (used to Ford!), as big a boot as you could ever need in a hatch, ability to pee off audi/beemer hacks at every opportunity, this site, feeling that the marque gives you - that smugness of knowing what most of the population do not!

Against - Road noise, jittery ride on motorway, average stereo, soft paint job, difficult to get power down on all but completely dry roads.

Would I have another - better belive it. Would I reccomend one - Better believe it. Will I miss it - Better believe it. Consolation prize - Audi A6! Hope I don't come across a vRS on my way home as I know it will leave me standing!

Incidently - Dealer took it back in a shot and offered an extremely good price for it. Service was first class all the way through, and they have been amazing - Please use them - Thomson and Potter in Blairgowrie, Scotland.

Bye Bye!

Cheerio :wavey: You don't have to leave just 'cos your Skoda has, you know!

Yeah, I'm still around and drive an Audi after getting rid of my vRS

Honest, stick around ...owning a skoda is not a requirement to stay

Indeed, no need to bugger off just because thr car has gone!

You will be back!

Im still here after I sold my vRS - :D

I like to think that I can help people from what I now know ect and I have made friends on here ect - It's a great place. Stay.

All the best for the future,

Rob

Eloquently put, my dear man!

Hey Scottiepaul; you missed a bit out in your post - what delight of a Company Car have you been given?

We all want to be either envious :(or have a laugh. C'mon please tell .......

A6

Ah yes; the answer was lurking in the small print, sound like it must be a 1.9/2.0 TDI - Silly me. :o

Yup, you can still stay even without a Skoda to your name, i have

I agree, Just ordered my second Octy from T&P. Great place to deal with. Even the cheery attractive girls in the office make it a pleasure to hand over your money come service time!!.;)

I'll bet you get a better courtesy car from Dundee Audi though!!

Enjoy your new Audi.
