Turbo Oil feed pipes

Featured Replies

Getting really confused as to which oil feed pipes i require for my turbo swap.

Fabia vrs 04 has KKK fitted atm, but need the Oil feed and drain pipes to fit the garret gt1749v which my stage2 hybrid is based on.

Anyone got part numbers etc.

Cheers John

Skud; where are you sourcing the Turbo from? From my experience the supplier will supply all the needed oil feel tubes?

its coming from Turbo dynamics themselves :D

Forgot to ask when i paid yesterday. Will find out in the morning, but i doubt they included the oil feeds in too. bloody bargain if they did

I don't think Oil feeds are that much...material wise. I thought they where just bits of Stainless Steel bent tubing with compression fittings on each end. I could bang those up at work for peanuts. When I pop the bonnet on the Furby they don't look that complex...or expensive?

The feed pipe is about £30 IIRC, and the banjo bolt nearly £20 on top!

Is it really nessesary to change the oil feed and drain pipes? They are quite costly for just abit of pipe with two unions on either end.

if you know and are sure it is not blocked or restricted in any way , then i see no problem re-using the oil feed pipe , maybe give it a good flush through with de-greaser before use and a good blow through with an air line

good practise would be to change it though, we have a Fiesta diesel at work which recently had a new turbo fitted without a new feed pipe , the new turbo is U/S now because the feed pipe is blocked

i would change the banjo copper washers anyway
