This is my first posting; I am a first-time Skoda owner having bought my new Fabia 1.4 petrol hatchback in March 2003.

I have come across a problem that I can't fathom...the rear screen wash is properly pumping water on to the rear screen whilst simultaneously discharging large quantities of fluid between the tail gate and the lining.

I'm hopeful that it is something as simple as a partially disconnected or split hose but the puzzle is that I can't work out how to get the lining off to see what's going on.

Can anyone help with this please?
