Having the old shape myself I've kind of got used to it's boxier shape and thought the new one was a bit girly... but saw an all black one on nice alloys today and actually quite liked it!

Bit random I know - Just thought I'd mention it!

The shape of the new one has grown on me as well. Can't wait to get my fabia sport and then have it lowered as I believe the high ride height to be one of the ugly features of the latest fabia, looks high even on 16"s!!!

Hmm yes that does look nice with the sunset glass option as well. A decent set of alloys and some lowereing springs would make it a proper minter!

Someone today at work arrived in one - same colour - it suits the car very well, but noticed when looking from the rear and down the side - it doesn't look very well proportioned - seems to be all door and very little glass to my mind.

I quite like the 'narrow glass' look! I doubt this Grey will be availible on the vRS if or when it ever appears though , it will probably be the same colour choice as the Octavia II vRS.

Most new models seem to be going for this narrow look now - had some news on this car and apparently it can't be moved due to some 'dangerous' defect. Don't have any info at present - will try to grab some details when I can.
