Rear panel trim question

Featured Replies

I've just noticed when I went in my boot of my vRS hatch that on the rear panel underneath the tailgate there is an area where there's no plastic trim just the car bodyshell exposed....should it be like that?

Basicly just above the little strap thing for pulling up the boot carpet...can't for the life of me remember if it's always been like that!

I'm worried it's been removed at the dealer or something and they've forgotten to put it back.

Sorry for the really lame question!:D

mine's always been like that. i thought exactly the same when i bought the car.

dont think there was ever anything there

Cool, thanks for that....seems a bit daft though doesn't it, wonder why I haven't noticed it before.

I'd have thought there should be, although they're a burger to fit (just ask anyone who's had the disappearing numberplate light trick perpetrated on them). After all, that trim is the only thing that stops stuff falling into the tailgate (and I'm 99% sure the Ambiante had trim there).
