Just got a sdi,ex taxi, told that it ad a engine change is there any way i can tell if it came fr a skoda or any of the other manurfactuers,I have looked at the num on the block next to the bell houseing,it starts of AQM 07204? As i don't no if this would cause a prob ordering parts, because when i look at parts eg timing kits it quotes diff for seat with same code AQM,And need to find out if it as dual mass flywheel,Also does any body no what part to ask for as i have a water leak on the pipe that bots to the head above gearbox, the one that the temp sensor fits to,as i can't get a good seal put a new one in, with no success + tryed instance gasget with no joy, sorry if this as taken up tomuch space.

Thank's in advance

Dunno, beyond that AQM is a valid engine code for a Skoda.

Check the engine number on the block tallies with the engine number on the logbook. :)
