Featured Replies

wondering if someone could help i have a 1986 skoda 120LS recently its been impossibe to start however if i bump start it teh car runs fantastic but wont re start until its warmed up the it starts fine someone mentioned there may be a hole in petrol pipe any ideas greatly appreciated

Hi there, you may get a better response in the Other Skoda Models - BRISKODA - The Skoda Forum and Community category.

Random guesses, petrol filter, valve clearances, or possibly the battery on it's way out - but I think that would be noticeable in terms of the starter turning over slower.

When it's not starting does the engine turn over OK?

I'd discount the holed fuel line unless there's a smell of petrol hanging around the car. If there is, I'd sort the fuel line before worrying about whether the engine would start or not!
