vRS dual zone climate slow response

Featured Replies

Has anyone else experienced slow response from the aircon when cooling cabin down after initial warming up in the winter? I have found the cabin takes a while to heat with the temp set around 26 but when it finally gets warm and you turn it down to 19-20 it takes ages to cool back down.

Maybe i'm being fussy but my old MK1 Octy's system always responded well to changes in temp.

Does the air go cold quickly if it's set to LO? It should go straight to cold in a few seconds on that setting.

There will be a delay/deadband in the climatronic programming to prevent the system from 'hunting' ie going hot/cold/hot/cold all the time. It's also dependent on what the various sensors are detecting and not what you might be subjectively feeling in the cabin.

Just set it to 20 in the first place.
