hi,anyone converted there manual windows to electric ones,

theres an octavia in the scrapyard near to me with all the bits to convert,it will take a while to sit and pick out the wires from the harness and transfer them to mine,

the only prob i can see looking at the wiring diagram is 2 wires which come from each window and go to can bus?

what are these wires for and do.

will it work without them connected?

any help or opinions ? cheers

The easiest way to make sure you get all the parts is to take the entire driver's door from the scrapper, because the electric window cars have a different convenience module , placed in that door.

The total operation of the standard electric windows is quite complex, since they have anti-strangle load sensors, and security close functions, not just push button up/down.

Any even easier thing to do than what Ken is suggesting is sell your current car and get a car with electric windows already!

The easy way is to get a kit from ebay cost about £45.00 fits in about 2 hours no problem done my last weekend simple

did you use the original skoda elec window switches?
