On-Board/ Trip computer display swiched off

Hi guys,

Help wanted.

The On-board computer display just switched-off on my Octavia mkI L&K 2001.

I mean the display between Rev-counter and Speedo in the dash.

In the morning it worked fine, and then just blacked out.:eek: It doesn't illuminate anything - no CD track, no board computer stuff (mpg, trip, etc.), no temperature, nothing.

Is there anything I can check on the car to fix the problem?
