New Brakes for Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place to get hold of replacement front and rear diacs and pads is for my 04 Fabia VRS

I am after good quality parts but not nothing special, I'v been looking at the Standard Mintex ones.

Best price I have found so far is £120 including delivery

Also I have seen some places advertising two different options, one has a wiring for a wear sensor, does the Fabia VRS require these cus from looking at tha pads currently fitted, I cant see any wiring.

Finally can anyone advise what sort of tool I need for winding in the piston on the rear caliper, I have seen the Laser one that Halfords do but I doenst list Skoda as one of the cars it fits or any of the other VAG cars. Does any one know if this tool is suitable?

£120 for 4 discs and 8 pads seems a very fair price. The Laser Caliper winder should be fine, the attachement is reversable and should fit the calipers no problem. You also don't need the sensor so either get the ones without or cut it off

:iagree: £120 for front and rear discs AND pads is a VERY good price!!!!

I got mine from EBC Direct:thumbup:
