Problems installing flash player.

Featured Replies

Either it is a stupid vista thing or my laptop is knakered, I have been trying to update my adobe flash player/active X thing. I have installed and uninstalled the stupid thing and tried all the help stuff suggested on the website. I have removed the pop up blocker as well.

Can anyone recommend something? Really doing my head in

Try disabling UAC (User Account Control) i had the same Prob with Vista but once i disabled that and did the install again it worked fine

If that doesnt work try this link

Flash install problems - how to fix Flash player installation problems such as the Youtube error - Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player.

for the standalone installer. That should Defo work. If not without looking at your comp i cant really say what else could be stopping it.
