Hi, I haven't posted in a long while, and never got around to posting pictures of my car. I'm hoping to rectify this right now with a mod list and a crude picture journal of my car.

I have a 2003 Octavia (Facelift) Ambiente with the 1.6 8V engine and 5 speed manual. It's equipped with the heavy duty suspension, rear drums, cloth interior, and power everything (except seats  ). Only extras given at the dealer were floor matts, window tint (50%), and a Sony CD Player head unit. I've had it since new and it has 62K on the odometer. Maintenance has always been genuine VAG parts with Mobil 1 sinthetic oil.

I then had some minor mods done which included:

Color matching and smoothing side and bumper trim

Twin rear fogs

VRS front sway bar bushings

Debadging front fenders and boot

After a minor fender bender I made some more changes:

Front VRS bumper complete with intercooler mounting plates

VRS gilled fender liner

Color matched side mirrors

Original Skoda front mud guards

Color matched mud guards

Replaced window tint (5%)

Sylvania front bulbs

I then had some cheap lowering springs installed  with 18x7.5 inch, custom painted, Arospeed Riot wheels on 225/35R18 Hankook Ventus K104 Tires.

In the near future I'll do a rear disc conversion with Jetta spindles. Also on the horizon are a new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, short shifter, and Phantom Grip for the 020K transmission. Have to finish off those in order to go turbo later on :P

Hope you guys like it and if you can shout out your opinions it would be great

Nice post and nice car :)

Very nice car and great mods too

I like the painted mud flats although I can't see them lasting long in the areas where I drive.

Phil, where I live the road is loose gravel and they've held up pretty well. I'm having them repainted today, so they've actually taken almost 4 years of abuse to get chipped.

By the way, I'm also having the front bumper refinished, lip spoiler painted and installed and I'm still deciding if I should color match the grille. Car will probably be ready by Wednesday so I'll have some pics up by then.

Well I decided to color match the grille and also go with ablack roof. I'll have pics up later during the week when the car is back in my hands.

Looks great now, nice transformation

Black roof:eek:

Black roof:eek:

Yeap, only on the center section that is bordered by the water channels, going from the windshield to the liftback window. Was going to paint also the rear view mirrors in brilliant black but decided to leave them color matched.

Went today to the shop and they are progressing nicely. Roof is done, as is the front bumper and new rear lip spoiler. The mudguards were being reshot today, as well as the grille. I'm picking it up late tomorrow so pics should be up by then or Friday.

Black roof is just uber, i love it, im looking into mine being done but i whant the whole floating roof effect

I'm guessing you also want to paint the pillars and door frames? I decided against it since the upsweep on the caracter line before the hatch would have made it look to frumpy for me.
