Is 265 standard ?

which would you recomend 265/265 or 278/270 ? As the only modifications i have so far are Induction kit and de-cat would the milider cam be best ?

Just had an potentially clever thought. Surely if you set the valve clearences lower (i.e 0.15 inlet and 0.19 exhaust instead of 0.2/0.25) this would effectively open the valves for longer and hae the same effect as a performance cam

No because you wouldn't be allowing enough clearance for when the engine has warmed up and you would bend things!!!!

The camshaft will have the movement for those kind of clearances without knackering your engine.

Also performance cams generally lift the valves higher.

I visited that link you gave and my antivirus software almost instantly reported finding a virus - anyone else have any trouble? Could be coincidence, just wondering.
