top score for octy II, sad to see it go....

I just thought i would put these few thought down on the site to help any one thinking of buying an octavia II.

I have had my 1.9 dci elegance for year and found the car to be well and truly up to all the tasks i put it to.

As a work horse its load space is great i managed to get plaster board in without cutting the sheets to fit them in.

The build quality is second to none and the car has no rattles and squeeks or anoying vibrations.

The glove box is huge and there are so many little boxes to store stuff in.

The climate control works to perfection.

Cabin noise is relativly quiet and the engine noise is only slightly intrusive at low speeds.

The comfort from the seating too is very good.

I do not have the slightes fault to relate over the build quality.

My only fault is with me, i can not get in the car too well as its just to low for me with my mobility problems. So its time to say good bye to a Fantastic car.

Over all if you get an Octavia II you will love the car and the drive. IT also tows very well and is a very good tow car.

SO 10 out of 10 to skoda on the octavia II and its true that skoda make happy drivers!!

Good review - thanks.

Are you going to be tempted by a Roomster - I would guess that might help with your mobility problems?

Nice little review that, its always nice to hear about owners experiences, good or bad... :)

What are you replacing it with?
