*@$%*|#~ Skoda Service Place!!!

Featured Replies

Just remembered to write about this!

Pulled into homebase carpark the other day (only just left home and the missus wants a wee:mad:). The guy parked infront of me had an old pug 405D, and couldnt get it started.

So me being me (and i am), offered my assestance. eventually got it going by jumping it.

But what i noticed was when i went to open the bonnet, the little tounge that pokes threw the grill was abit stiff!

I thought it must be the catch.

looked at the crossmember to find a 12inch screwdriver stuck:eek:!!!

I had had the fabia in at Chippenham Motor Services (name and shame!) for a replacement ERG valve on warrenty about 10 days before!

If it had slipped onto the fan/rad i wouldnt have been empressed!

Taking it back to the owner tomorrow if i get a chance!!:thumbdwn:

Hey I wish my local stealer gave me free screwdrivers ! Maybe you could get the rest of the set ...

Thats not very good.

Write to SUK....

I remember the step dad got a Snap on ratchet screwdriver when his evo got serviced, went onto ebay and there worth £70 - result :)

I once had the keys to a brand new Impreza STi left in my Audi after a wheel alignment. Spare keys still in their plastic wrapping.

All i've had left in the Skoda is an airline blower attachment, which is lucky as the seals have gone on mine so needed a new one anyway.

I found a Hacksaw in my airbox under the filter once, still not sure what use it would have been in performing the service

The previous owner of my Furby left a free coffee mug coaster in the CD player*

Lofty86, I'm just down the way from you in Westbury. If you need you car repaired/serviced etc then I can thoroughly recommend Platinum Skoda in Bath.

My previous (one lady) owner left me some latex gloves and a thin bendy piece of wood... god knows what she got up to!

....i'll give you a fiver for the gloves if you still have them.

It wasn't Amanda was it?

If it was I could tell you, but I'd have to kill you.;)

Thinking:* snap of a latex glove *

When it got a courtesty car once it had a dell keyboard in the back.

I have on occasions found a free thin plastic seat cover covering the drivers seat. Sometimes they even actually change the oil and filter, but not always.

All I found when I first bought mine was a rather nasty smell of old person... (you know the smell). The previous owner was over 65 and it is only a 1.4Mpi but still... the drive isn't that thrilling!

I found this in an Octy vRS when I took it for a test drive.

Imagine my delight when I discovered I could get £43 for it on eBay. Result.

Cheeky young B****r . If it was an "Old person" smell SHWBO reckons it could have been Old Spice as used my old people. I hasten to add I don't use it as I am sweet smelling anyway!

The Old person who had the car wouldn't have crapped himself with the outstanding acceleration of the car now would he???

Looking at what youv'e got / spent on your car wouldn't the money have been better spent on a higher BHP motor??
