I have a Black Combi vRS series 1.

am about to buya combi wagon for my wife either a series 1 4x4 or a 2.0 petrol combi.

What would you think was the best buy?

Will the 1.8 turbo handle 91 octane petrol?

For NZ roads I'd say the 4x4

Do NOT put 91 in your vRS - I know someone whose wife filled his Golf GTI (similar engine) with 91 and it turned out to be quite expensive to make right again!

The 1.8t should ideally be run on 98

Where in NZ are you? I'm in Wellington. But I flashed a black RS Combi near Hamilton last weekend

Hello, I just became a proud owner yesterday of a 2021 Škoda Karoq 1.5 tsi dsg sportline in velvet red. I’ve only done 50miles in it so far but absolutely love it. There is a few firsts for this car, first car to auto gearbox, first car in approx 20 years to not be a diesel and my first Škoda or VAG car.

Since I had the car, every time I drove it, it has had what my wife called a rattling from the doors. I always characterised it as a creak. As the car is otherwise so quiet (especially when on battery at slow speed) it was quite noticable. Hi folks, I'm finding the steering feel of the Superb somewhat lifeless, vague and far too light. Looking for your help to see what I can do to improve it Having owned 3 other VAG's (2 x Golf R's and 1 x Golf Alltrack) I'm used to the lack of steering feedback however, the Superb is the worst so far. Drove my wife's Alltrack the other day and it was more direct than the Superb. Current handling mods are just Eibach lowering springs at the moment, and good tyr

Hi guys. I tried to code lane assist for my 2019 SUPERB FL using Icar pro Vgate and car scanner pro. Lane assist is showing on dashboard and in the options but it doesn't work. The icon is yellow, car displays message that it is not currently available. What did I miss... A5 camera is 2Q0980653. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! Maybe there is someone with Obd11 in Shrewsbury area wilkingvto help if car scanner can't perform this coding?
