Anyone got an up to day speed camera file for a TomTom?

Featured Replies

I've bought a shiny new Go720 , but the POI files for speed cameras that I have are several years old.

Does anyone have an up to date set they don't mind sharing?

Pocket GPS World, subscribe by paypal or just pay for a months worth, only a couple of quid.

I have the 720 and all the updates are free via tomtom home for speed camera updates so yours should be the same

Nope, they want to charge me for the TomTom updates....

You sure its a 720??

Is it a 720 or 720T (will have a TMC Antenna in the box)

The only thing i get charged for are Map Updates.

Are you using the New Version of TomTom Home?

Email them if you are as all my Updates are free (less mapping) so you may have a problem with your Device. Cant see why i shouldnt have to pay and you do.

If you still have to pay then the combined camera and traffic bundle is the best option to go for.

I recently bought the TOM TOM one (third edition) which is about the cheapest, and it has a lifetime camera locations as standard, included in downloads.

Surely yours being a more expensive model should also have speed camera downloads for free, on the 720?

I do find that a bit strange, but best of luck in tracking down updates for your Tom Tom 720.

Soviet:)

All new TomTom all-in-ones have lifetime speed cam updates, and mapshare.

Connect to your PC and run the Home application ;)

Does that include any TomToms Ones that have the updated software on?

Can you explain as this confused the hell out of me when I got my 520T recently and it seemed to have a price next to the speed camera download?

They are chargeable to older versions and PDA users, however many recent TT's were sold with i stated somewhere on the box or inside the bumf about free updates.

I know TT ONE v3 has this, as bought the Mrs one.
