yup, sometimes the dealers can be better than everywhere else (surprisingly). Halfords paint isnt meant to be a great match and they are expensive too. There is a paint place online car & motorcycle paints...Everything from car touch up paint to air tools available online thats meant to be good too.

I just paid less than £5 for the same Skoda paint and lacquer kit, so got 6 packs. My sources are hush hush though. Anyone want a paint pack for £7?

Halfords paint isnt meant to be a great match and they are expensive too.

I've bought 3 different mix 'n' match paint cans from Halfords (including 2 metallics) and the matches were spot on and not very expensive either

Having worked in a Halfords store during my darker days I can say that it is very much dependant on the store, cycle of the moon and who is serving you as to whether your paint is going to match! Also, a lot of people go in there to get paints for older cars which may have faded or even been resprayed at some point and hence not be the 100% original shade. I still wouldn't use them. I prefer either direct from the manufacturer or car & motorcycle paints...Everything from car touch up paint to air tools available online (or .co.uk).
