Just bought a silver VRS on Friday. Its got a full serice mystery so unsure of what its running.

It's got a Forge dumpvale, a huge FMIC, also Forge and a shed load of Samco hoses. I only paid £1600 for it. It's done 129k, motorway miles apparently.

Anyway, the turbo let go today, due to oil starvation caused by some **** that resealed the sump blocking the pick up with sealer!!

What turbo does it run is it a KS03? And what about uprated turbos?

Yep k03s turbo.

Standard it runs a K03S, but with that list of mods chances are the turbos not standard either. A big FMIC will result in a drop in power with the standard turbo.

what do you mean by big? is it the one from forge for the 180bhp car? or a biger one?

Y would there be a drop in power on the K03s????

It's a Forge cooler, with modded crash bar. Just ordered a new turbo today too! Gone foe the standard option at the moment, just to get it running and make sure theres no other damage.....

The turbo turned up today! Whoop! Whoop! I just hope she will live again!

I put the new turbo on today, what a **** job! The Octaveeuor lives again though! Plenty of smoke from an exhaust full of oil but she's flying now!!

get a bigger turbo on it then it will be more fun
