Saying Goodbye Today

Featured Replies

The time has come to say by to my trusty Black 2.0TDi 06 Elegance:thumbup:

Its been fantastic bette than the Octy I TDi previously

Its only 2 years old in May and a company car, I was supposed to keep it for 4 years but new company owners don't have company cars at all

So a cracking 10k pay rise was nice "thanks new bosses"

Having had company cars since I was 22 its a bit scary

Don't worry I'm sticking around

Going to order a new vRS TDi in May when the extra monthly cash comes in

Yipee

:D

10k pay rise? Pah! Hardly worth it...lol. Anyway, glad your sticking with us, and good luck with the vrs, excellent choice of replacement

Love the cheeky green brakes!

Good luck with your new job fella! :)

Don't worry about losing the company car - its actually quite liberating. I gave up two company cars when I left my last business ( A Disco series 3, 2.7 TDi HSE and a Volvo V50 2.4 auto).

I now scan autotrader and such like looking for cars I want and/or have 'missed out on' over the years and its amazing what you can get for so little cash for a 2-3 year old Luxo-barge.

Also, get your company finance manager (or whoever deals with car insurance) to write a letter on company headed notepaper and most big named insurance companies will recognise your history as NCB - I got 6 years NCB from NU this way and it wasn't as scary a cost as I thought it would be.
