I've just become the proud owner of a Satin grey Octavia Scout. As a replacement to my 05 Octavia. I had fitted in it a Parrot 3200ls, which had the big extra chunky awkward to hide iso to quad lock cable

I decided to remove the "thing" from the old one myself to give me a good idea where it was going back to in the Scout. Simple, patch the tele mute, patch the switched 12v. Easy peasy yeah, until the mute is now on the seperate plug ... doh. Thats sorted - well sort of, I pick the connector and cable up on Thursday from the dealer. (Thanks VRStu for the part numbers). So that will have me muting as soon as I get them bits.

The swithed live they actually used was the "rad on" which I take is a normal power atnenna / amp switch live. As you are well aware this is not rpresent on the Stream mp3.

Forward on a bit to countless searching (with umpteen search strings and general browsing) it's time to get the switched live from the fuse box. But where????

What has been mentioned is the phone connection switched live on the fuse box. I am unable to see the picture on the fuse card, and there is no mention in the manual on the list of each fuse position, use and rating tables.

The other point to get a live that is mentoined is the climatronic. This is in position 16 in the fuse box. When checking it with a meter first, I discovered that this is not a switched, but rather a perm live, confirmed with a temp test cable to the parrot. in the row that has position 9 and it's friends there is no supply bar on the back of the fuse box, so this discounts all of them.

Can anyone give me a pointer as to where the elusive switched live actually is. I do not just want to go throught he back of the box trying to find one with pot luck.

There is a switched live on the back of the Climatronic panel - Could it be that you were confused with?

Have you looked at the fuse assignment in the owners manual rather than the cr@ppy little card?

Stu, thanks very much. I used the black / yellow off the back of the climatronic.

Apart from a hiss, which I presume will go away when properly muted on thursday, my parrot is squarking marvellously.

I did look in the manual, and there is no mention of a phone supply, that I could see.
