Locking the boot without central locking

Featured Replies

I've got a bit of a problem at the moment with the remote locking kit I installed draining the battery. As the drain is on the central locking circuit, I tried removing the central locking circuit fuse because I was away at the weekend.

However, I soon realised that although I could lock all the doors by pressing down on the locking pin for the rear doors and turning the key in the lock for the front doors, I couldn't lock the boot.

Am I being stupid - is there a way to secure the car with the central locking unserviceable?

Cheers

Rob

Have a peek, im not sure if this is right, but Theres a small orange lever on the latch mechanism, Isnt it the case if you clamboer in the back and flick this from the inside when its closed then thats the lock applied?

May be wrong though, cant remember without going out to the car
