Does anyone have the Blue flame exhaust on the mk1 vrs and if so what they think of it compared to the milltek:confused:

Simple answer. Milltek "more expensive and quieter"

Blue flame "Less expensive and louder"

I'v got the Milltek fitted:thumbup:.

I thought there was not much between any of them in the noise stakes, resonated or non resonated.

I have not heard them all though.

I fancy the exhaust to sound nice but not like a **** motor, but i do want to be able to hear it:)

Personally I'd go Milltek, purely because of the better quality.

If you do go Milltek, you could even go for the 2.75" turbo back system if you have the dollar!

I'm torn between Milltek and Piper personally. They seem to be the two best quality products on the market currently.

I'm keeping my eye on Janspeed though. They might be releasing something soon....

Just heard a clip of the blue flame turbo back system and it sounds great

but so does the Milltek, looks like i am goin to opt for the milltek full system, anyone know a good place to have it fitted in oxfordshire when i buy :confused:

I've got a Blueflame on my 02 Leon Cupra, it does sound slightly lounder than I wanted it to, I would have personally wanted the Milltek but a group buy meant I could get the full Blueflame system from the turbo back for £400 quid.

Its been fitted for 18 months and never had any issues, the car is REVO'd as well and when switched back to factory settings is also quieter.

I have had both systems on my Octy VRS, turbo back versions, Miltek looked slightly better quality, but fitment was bad. kept knocking at the centre box and heatshield (might just be a bad one on mine) Sound wise there was not much in it, although the Blueflame is only slightly louder on revs. I still have a brand new miltek "none" resonated centre section if anyone is buying a miltek.
