Cheers Stu.

Sounds like a wheel bearing...

The funny thing is it's not making it this morning does it depend if the car is warmed up?

Davy

Try swapping the tyres side to side and see if the noise moves. Get an awfull lot of out off shape tyres these days.

I had my tyres changed a couple of weeks ago, guessing it is on the right hand side.

Wheel bearing is fav, but as its been done in the top post I guess its either the wrong sode of maybe the bearing wasn't fitted correctly.

Hi

Sorry I have a 05 fabia Vrs The bearing is a skoda part and was fitted

correctly the noise was there before

the bearing was fitted and after a mile

the sound came back I thought it might

be a warped disc because if I put very

light pressuer on the brake it stops

The problem I have with mine is that it is fine during the day, only ever seems to happen at night any ideas??

Never done it once all day until tonight?

I had similar noises/symptoms early this year. Skoda agent in Darlington dicovered it was front brake pad (none Skoda spare!) had become detached from the backing plate. Replaced - all OK

same here just replaced my bearing too and still have play in the wheel and developed a squeek now and then.

re fitting the clips on the ball joint dust covers is fun aint it to all u out there who tackled the job themselves.
