Anyone know if you can tap into the interior light to add footwell lights??

My mate has just done this in his type-r and it looks smart

I don't see why not. It should just be a case of running the extra wires down from the interior light and fitting more in the footwell, I don't know anyone who has done it though

I doubt it, no Fabia that I know of came with interior footwell lights so the wriring and plug would not be there ready.

Yeah I did notice the pics were missing. You could try PM'ing Fabia 12v but I don't think he is on here too often. Alternatively, you could try bumping that thread and seeing if anyone else has a copy of the pics.

Yes there is but I dont think its linked to the interior light. I want them to fade in and out when unlocked/locked

Not really, as I dont want to keep turning them on and off. I want them on when the interior light is on, hence when it is unlocked.

Hopefully might get something sorted at the weekend

It is possible, but means running wires behind roof lining and down behind dash and so forth.

Maybe find the fuse and wire it to the fuse box on a slit cable one to the light then run one down to the well lights?
