HTC P3600 Trinity - Any top tips??

Featured Replies

Ok so I've just taken delivery of this beast - Thanks Tony ;)

I wanted to venture into the smart phone world so that I can be 'more connected' whilst on the move. I've looked at a few of the HTC ones and they seemed to be really neat.

So a couple of questions -

How can I control the connection, eg when in range of a wireless signal use that for data instead of 3G or GPRS?

Is there a program that can edit the contacts on the PC?

How can I add an email account to Outlook - I seem to be able to add an account on the phone but outside of Outlook.

How do I enable rSAP?

Some of these things are mentioned in the manual but I think I have slightly different versions of the SW and what I believe to be custom firmware.

Thanks

You most certainly do have custom firmware mate, I just mailed you back as well Stu.

Have a look on the SD Card as well, I left a few useful apps on that for you to play with, don't forget this has built in GPS as well and there is a neat feature you can use on the camera.

Fire up the camera in "still mode", change the mode with the left mode button and it goes to GPS mode, so you can snap your picture and it will log the GPS Coordinates of were you took it ... geeky but strangely fun.

Cool thanks mate.

When in Outlook I can see the messages that I have from Syncing with my PC however the send/recieve are greyed out - Any ideas.

I do have an account set up 'externally' but that doesn't deliver into outlook.

Have you installed the update package for syncing with windows mobile devices on vista.

(I am correct in thinking you are running vista aren't I?)
