Standard or Specific VRS mats in a new VRS?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Asking on behalf of a friend - she has just bought a new VRS and her mats are black with grey piping - no VRS logo etc. Is this normal or have the wrong mats been supplied?

There are some VRS ones in the accessories brochure for just under £40 a set - should these have been the ones supplied as standard?

Cheers,

Lee

mine sound the same as these - no logos.

Same here , mine were black with the grey piping (MKII octy vRS)

Bought the rubber ones for the winter & keeping the cloth ones for the summer

The std ones are plain. The LOGO ones are an accessory. Make sure if she wants some she gets the right fitment (stud or twist).

Chris

Yup, std ones are the plain 'ole grey edged ones :(

Yep - plain ones are the standard - the marked 'vRS' ones look good, but they wanna rip you off for a set, though I AM tempted... haha

Yep, standard are black with grey binding, although I will eventually get round to ordering a set of the new accessory ones with the vRS logo. :)

Oooo, sounds like a great idea for a group buy!

Thanks for the info guys. I've passed on the info. :)

Mine are the same with the grey piping. No logo.

Got a new set with the VRS logo on last week from my local dealer. Look far better and managed to get a slight discount as the packaging was open and they were dusty! Cost £35 and look far better imo.

Mine too; black with light grey (or is it meant to be silver) piping.

Haven't seen any with vRS logo but am tempted to get a set of these;- Skoda Octavia II - interior carpets SPORT-LINE - original Skoda Auto : Skoda Tuning = superskoda.com

Urgh!

I guees they MIGHT be acceptable with your car being red... Don't like the "Sport Line" Logos though - look like a cheap set of market sourced boy racer mats saying that

Here's the Gen. Skoda 'vRS' ones;

?koda Accessories

Much neater and kinda bland, to go with the rest of the look of the car...

Thanks; I was about to look up the 'official' ones; you saved me the trouble.

Actually; you're dead right the 'official' Skoda vRS ones are better (I had a similar set in my Fabia before) and they're not that expensive either!

Plus I have also realised that there is one fatal flaw in my suggestion of the 'sportline' ones - they are for a left hooker!

I wish you hadn't put a link up to the SuperSkodas site now... I might have to buy something

These look pretty good IMO - Skoda Octavia II - seat handle RS badge : Skoda Tuning = superskoda.com

mmm, yes. I had my beady eye on a set of those too. I had to go and check there where actual depressions in the seat adjust to fit them.
