I have been having trouble removing the engine cover on my car. I don't have a clue how to do it. I am just wondering if there are any diagrams or tutorial like instructions that will explain how to remove the engine cover.

The reason I want to remove it is that I need to get to the air filter.

They are usually on rubber mounts. Just pull upwards and it will come off.

Being quite new, yours probably hasn't been off before, so it will be pretty stiff.

I will give it another try tomorrow (I haven't got my car at the moment, the garage has it and I've got an '07 Fabia 1 as a courtesy car )

i had the same prob, good pull from the front, 2 hands though and a good pull up and hey presto, any more probs just on and we'll try to help
