mobile phone holder

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a good mobile phone holder? I normally put my phone in the cubby under stereo, but have accidently left in in the car a few times when i've got to work or when I get home.

I dont want to drill any holes in the dash to fix a holder, and the ones I've had in the past that attatch to vents aren't too cleaver for my liking.

Phone is an LG Viewty by the way:rolleyes:

Have a look at Brodit.se and look for 2 things.

1. Brodit Proclip-Clips onto the dash somewhere, no damage and provides a flat surface on to which you can mount.....

2. A phone/PDA/SatNav specific holder.

When you sell the car, you take 2. with you and leave/sell 1 and buy a new proclip for your new car. If you change phone, you change part 2 and keep 1.

Brodit dont actually sell them, try handnav.co.uk or google to find other UK sellers.

Brodit holder with a nokia holder about £25 for the two of them

I got a vent one from ebay for £5 and is pretty good and solid, matches the dash perfectly too. I use it to hold my MP3 player

Thanks for that guys, Fatty, does the holder get in the way of the stereo?

James

No, I'll do a decent photo in the morning from the drivers seat.

I dug that one out from the archive .....lol

Thanks again for your input. Fatty, I've ordered the same clip as you. I think that is a good position and it keeps all the vents clear. And I got the phone holder part off ebay, saving myself about a fiver:thumbup: so hopefully Monday/Tuesday I will have it fitted.

My advice is to get the proper pohone holder manufactured for your phone by the phone company. I have a Sony Ericsson holder, and I have attached it to my dash using No More Nails Tape, as I didn't want to drill holes either.
