Caliper paint for RS

Featured Replies

Anyone know if the skoda dealer can supply the correct caliper paint. Notice some chips on my calipers the other day. Tried touching up with some caliper paint I had in racing green but too dark. I wonder would the dealer consider respraying them if I asked ?

I think there is a hammerite paint that is close to the vRS caliper colour. I'm not too sure if Skoda sell a touch up pen for them.

if anyone finds out can they let us know, i have a chip out of the drivers side front

Are the calipers not powder coated?

Is it possible to get a touch up to match powder coating?

Flanno,I am fairly sure that the colour is a BS4800 colour(British Standard). The colour code is 14 E 53. Check it out on a colour card first, available anywhere. I work in the paint game so it's a half educated guess. I thought straight away that it was this colour when I bought the car. (I must check it out on my own colour cards). This colour is sometimes known as "Ireland Green" believe it or not.Regards David

hi flanno, i recently enquired at the dealers for such paint , they checked and said there is no listing , so i went and got the hammerite " smooth green" its called, and is a pretty good match if you dont want to do what dave said

Great stuff. Just ordered it from milotec. Surpsied they dont do credit card online. They said on the terms and conditions they send me an invoice and I lodge money into one of their bank a/c's. Any idea how long this whole thing takes from order to delivery ? Also it wasn't clear what the shipping was and whether I pay the courier or them ?
