A small Hole

Featured Replies

So I had my car up on jacks this weekend, to reapply some copper grease to the rear wheels.

Already been down that road with the rear wheels sticking and a very large Mallet

While i was under the car thought id take a look to see if the rabbits had chewed any more of the car  :x

on the underside where the spare wheel sits about 18" from the bumper along the centreline is a small 3mm grometed hole, with the engine running it vents to atmosphere :?:

Any ideas what this is doing? :?:

it`s part of the exhaust for the outer and inner skin ventilation system, it keep`s the void between the two skins free of moisture/condensation therefore insulating the interior, also works inconjuntion the climate control when starting the engine from cold eg. delays in system start up while moist air is expelled which could cause the windscreen to mist up.

god it`s hard being a genius just have to soldier on and keep making a differance i suppose

Even I am impressed! Has anyone got a more difficult question for delcac?

Thanks I bow to your superior knowledge,

now if anyone knows how to stop the pesky rabbits nibbling the underside of my car

No i cant shoot them, make rabbit stew etc............

Its a drawback of living in the countryside

What do they nibble on your Skud?

I suggest putting the scent of some predator or maybe the image of an owl with big reflective eyes somewhere close by.

Alternately, change the colour of your Skud to a less tasty colour, such as Black, silver or yellow...

you could always jack it up on bricks and take the wheels off like the nice fellas round my way do.............FOC
