New to this posting lark. Have new octavia ambiente tdi. Bought new in 2005. This is my second octavia. Had 02 model before. Got rear ended by opel astra so decided to change.Still not sure if new one is better than old. Had to have clutch replaced under warranty after 35,00Km. No other problems so far. Very economical car to drive. Did trip from home to Westport, about 280 Km, recently. Averaged 76 Km/hr and car did about 71mpg average for trip.
