Ok chaps a friend of mine has translated the bonnet lifter instructions into English.

I haven't fitted them yet and therefore cannot verify the instructions but you're willing to amend these if necessary. I will be fitting the lifters myself on Sunday morning and I'll change the guide if anything is wrong.

I did note that the actual instructions refer to the Polo 6n which is not the model of Polo our Fabia shares components with. Hopefully this will not matter to much.

Anyway here goes,

1. Remove the front MS pin/anchor bolt from the left hinge (A)

2. Mount the Kugelbolzen M6 x20mm (spherical pin/bolt/stud) at this place (do not forget the M6 Unterlegscheibe M6) (shmi.washer)

3. Remove the 4th chassis screw ( (seen from the front side)

4. Mount the spheric screw at this place (do not forget the M6 Unterlegscheibe) (shim washer)

5. Remove the foam block glued to the hinge.

6. Screw the joints oin the Hoodlift and remov ethe security braces/clamp.

7. Mount the hoodlift (with cylinder facing up) on the Kugelbolzen (spherical pin) these should be mounted properly.

8. Mount the brace/clamp/brace/clamp back in the joints.

9. Repeat the process for the other side.
