does anyone have an idea how much skoda dealer will charge to supply and fit a new clutch on a mk 1 octy vrs.

For a dealer I think thats not bad, Flywheel might have to be done depending on wear also.

Get this OCTAVIA VRS 1.8T RIGED FLYWHEEL/ CLUTCH CONVERSION KIT on eBay, also, Skoda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 16-Jul-08 20:47:54 BST) and get it fitted at a independent garage

Theres a Mr Clutch in Kelty, Bit of a trek for you though :(

For what it's worth, I used Mr Clutch a few years back for a Vauxhall Astra. The clutch job was done in forty minuets at a cost of £90 including VAT, yes £90.
