Blue tooth connectivity?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a VRS 2.0 litre petrol estate. The manual says that it has a blue tooth connection that should find my mobile telephone. It doesn't. Is the manual talking about an Elegance? Or do I need a telephone cradle? (not available in this country I'm told)

My steering wheel doesn't have any radio controls either.

Manuals frequently mention equipment that might not be fitted to all cars.

If there was a bluetooth module present you would find a telephone option in the menu by pressing and holding one end of the rocker switch on the wiper stalk (provided you have the dot matrix dash display instead of the green LCD display).

If you are still unsure then Skoda Customer Services should be able to help you out (1800 607 540), either that or your dealer.

Look for BT unit placed bellow the front seat. My Octy is LHD so the unit is placed bellow passenger front seat. If yours is RHD I don't know if the unit was bellow left or right front seat, look bellow the both of them.

This might help.

I believe a dealer down under is stocking these as an aftermarket upgrade, VRStu should be able to shed some light on this too :)
