Xbox 360 Recommended Games

Featured Replies

Hi,

After finally paying out for an Xbox 360 Elite, i've only got a few games for it so far, so was wondering which games you would recommend i get.

The games i currently own are:

Tiger Woods 08

Football Manager 2008

Football Manager 2007

Need For Speed Carbon

Tom Clancys Ghost Recon 2

Call of Duty 3

Call of Duty 4 on the way

GTA IV on the way

Any ideas greatly appreciated??

What kind of games you into?

i reccomend:

Crackdown

Gears of War

Dead rising (because its cheap and fun)

Assassin's Creed

Gears of War

Crackdown

:)

Forza 2

Burnout Paradise and/or Revenge

Assassin's Creed

Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action (fun family type game)

download some of the demos available on XBL

Since Call of Duty 4 came out I have played very little else.

I would recommend PGR 4 and Forza 2 though.

:iagree: Yup, Call of duty 4 all the way. Downloaded a few driving games but when you get COD4 you will find that you wont play any other game.

So go buy it

COD4 is awesome, rainbow6 2 that good, and fifa 08

As above really COD 4 is a must.

Bioshock is also fairly good if you can spare some time when you aren't playing COD4, and you can pick up cheap copies these days.

I only ever really used to be into sports or driving games but after borrowing my mates Xbox last year and playing COD3, i was hooked and decided to give Ghost Recon 2 a try, which has also got me hooked at the moment as well.

With games like Fifa 08 and Nascar 08, i'm wondering if it's worth getting them now or waiting until the 09 versions come out??

I have downloaded a few demo's and going to give them a try out over the weekend. Just thankful i've already paid my car insurance for this year!! :D:rofl:

Thanks for the suggestions, any further ideas are welcome though.

Rainbow 6 1&2, COD4, Forza2, PGR4...

couldn`t get on with ghost recon 2...

Gears of war, Halo 3, crackdown are also good games

HTH

Phil

assassins creed and bio-shock are in my opinion the 2 best games released on 360 so far.

Bioshock and Forza 2 are both very good!

I'll be awaiting the Postman on Tuesday for GTA4!

im also waiting on gta 4 :)

so i wont be buying another game till then!

sadly ive only actually bought halo 3. other than that ive been having a bash at far cry instincts for some reason i found a second wind with the game :)

i will buy bioshock at some point and COD4 too, as i have played it and i thought it was blinding!

Well I only got my xbox 360 yesterday, and so far I have to say the arcade pack is mildly entertaining but I've borrowed COD4 and it's one of the best games I've ever played.

*EDIT* I've now branched out and bought assassin's creed and condemned 2. Both goof, but assassin's creed has sucked me in completely.

Bearing in mind that some shops have been open since midnight, has anyone played GTA IV yet??

I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to play it and not sure where to buy it from because so far ASDA has been the cheapest i've seen.

Other than the one's you've already got i'd say.....................

Forza 2

Geras of War

Bioshock

and

Uno! It's one of the arcade games that you have to download for 800MS points i think but it's bloody addictive!!!!! Plus it's the only game that i have 100% of achievements completed. :D

Cheers

Dave.

Buy GTA4. NOW!

Just picked up GTA IV, though cost me £22.99 on top of the £44.99 for the game because GAME wouldn't sell it to anyone unless they bought something else because they only had 3 copies left. Still, i wanted an extra controller anyway, so not that bothered and it still works out cheaper than Amazon.
