Brake Servo Vacuum pipe

Featured Replies

Hi there all,

Whilst looking for a hissing noise under the bonnet of the octy the other day, it was noticed how loose the brake servo vacuum hose seemed to be. I was thinking of pulling it out for a closer look but it seems to be held in there by more than just the gromet. Any ideas???

Oh found the hissing noise was the intercooler pipe had come loose....

Define "loose". Worst case is that it comes off or gets cut through and you have to stop the car with no servo-assistance.

Or you can melt the pipe, that's a buddle of laughs as well.:eek::eek:
