This is JayCee from Dominican Republic,

I recently joined this forum to find some advices for my project.

I bought a skoda felicia GLX 1997 and i wish to modify it at all, new bore engine, new exhaust, new intercoler, just about everything....

Im seriously thinking about a Toyota 4A-GE in replace of my current 1.3L 70 HP engine, can you guys help me out and tell me if that car can handled that engine???

Any advise will be really appreciated.

P.S my email is [email protected], and i also own a skype account which is juan-alvarez1 please add me.

Regards,

JayCee

Welcome to the site. If you want to start a poll, probably best to put it in the Felicia section :)

Hello and welcome.

Hello and welcome to Briskoda.

Hiya. I'd suggest putting the poll in general tuning rather than new members.

That said, I'd suggest measuring up the Toyota engines to see which is most similar in size to the original unit. I'd not try a Honda unit because the ones I've see are opposite way round to the usual, which seems likely to cause additional engineering problems with the conversion.

Good luck, whatever engine you choose!
