Introducing myself after Googling for information on why my one year old battery still discharges whilst parked for no more than two days, having replaced alternator at suggestion of Skoda agent. Someone's mentioned "Relays". Where are they and how do they regulate charging? I have a nearly 7 year old Octavia 4X4 purchased just over a year ago at 42k, now at 60k. It's my second Octavia, the first being a 2.O GLX now with my daughter with 106k on clock. I've been full of praise for Octavias, but flat battery now wearing thin.
